Kaleidoscope
It all started with a dream of creating a flexible group of performers and composers that would collaborate, embracing improvisation and drawing from folk and world music.
It was an exciting journey! In 11 weeks of workshops 7 new works were devised, all inspired by folk music from around the world and including elements of improvisation.
They were premiered at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in January 2018, and performed again in June 2018.

Collaboration with Daniel Blanco Albert - composer and trumpeter, and Róza Bene - harpsichordist and piano teacher
During the COVID-19 pandemic, in lockdown, as three musicians living under the same roof we created a house ensemble to perform well-known pieces in new arrangements (violin, trumpet and harpsichord / piano), and to inspire home music-making.
During the project, we did not only record classical music staples, but also reached out to our students and friends, asking for drawings / scores that we then improvised to.
